Comments: | India Palace (a new location is also open in Lawrence) is consistently excellent. The variety of dishes on the lunch buffet means that you won't easily get bored with the selection. Most of the dishes are spicy, but the heat does not leave a mere burning sensation in your mouth; rather, it makes the various dishes come alive. For the price, most of us are better off going here to eat Indian food, rather than trying to prepare it at home! This restaurant is a particularly good choice for vegetarians, given the array of dishes offered on the menu as well as on
the buffet at lunch. |

Comments: | So far, the best Indian food I have tried in Kansas. Very friendly employees who remember their customers. The only restaurant I would actually feel comfortable eating alone at. Perfect meal: Lamb Curry, extra hot spicy; Vegetable Samosas, finished off with a hot cup of Masala Tea. |

Comments: | This is my favorite place for carryout. The vegetable korma is addictive and always excellent. If you've never had plain Basmati rice
done right, India Palace is the place for it. The lamb dishes and samosas
are great with their mint chutney. The food and service is always
excellent. Best of all, I just found out they participate in the Upromise
program! Now, part of my dinner purchase can go into my Upromise account
for my son's college fund. Yay! |

Comments: | Great lunch buffet for the price. It costed me nearly $8 on a sunday afternoon lunch buffet. Service quality is ok but not the best. Limited number of dishes to choose from. Have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. All in all a good place to have food once in a while. |

Comments: | Our FAVORITE KC restaurant. After living in the SF Bay area for a few years, we were spoiled with a plentitude of great Indian restaurants. Upon moving to KC we tried several in the Jo. Co. area but found none that combined consistently great quality Indian cuisine with great service. India Palace is all that and more. We go almost every weekend for their lunch buffet (which runs all 7 days, I believe). The buffet choices are simple with both vegetarian and meat options. Dishes burst with flavor and spices but don't go overboard on the heat. A warm chai tea is part of the buffet as well as fruit, naan, and dessert options. They are also very family friendly. We have little ones and they are always more than accomodating.
I can't recommend India Palace enough. If you like Indian cuisine or are a curious newcomer - try India Palace. You won't be disappointed. |

Comments: | My wife and I have eaten at India Palace every weekend (for the last two years) and have never been disappointed! Most of their food variety doesn't change except between Sat-Sun when they cycle some different dishes through. My favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala (although not originally from India) it is a great dish. Their Masala tea is one of the best around! Their prices cannot be beat at $6.95/buffet |
