The only complaints I have had in the past: The bathroom, when I visited, would never have passed a health inspection, and we have had several baby spiders descend upon us from the ceiling on a couple occasions! Sounds strange, but we still love Chien Dynasty and keep coming back! |

| Comments: | This place claims to be the "Largest buffet in Kansas City areas" but I don't see how that could be correct as I have been to others that I considered to be much bigger. It makes a good advertising pitch though. Food is average chinese buffet, nothing unique. Nothing bad, just average. The seaweed is something tasty and different. Service is excellent though with the waitreses clearing dishes and refilling drinks very quickly. |

| Comments: | This is an excellent place to go for chinese buffet. They have over 150 items including all the usual chinese stirfrys and most everything else you find on a chinese buffet as well as squid, sushi, crawdads and lots more. They also offer a Mongolian Grill where you put together a plate of meats, vegetables and sauces and take it to the cook who cooks it on a large circle shaped grill. All this for $7.99 ($10.99 weekend nites), drink and ice cream included. They claim to have the biggest Chinese buffet in KC and I think they may be right. They do have the most diverse selections I have ever seen with lots of stuff you probably won't find anywhere else (crawdads, sushi, etc.) Nice decor with crystal chandeliers and a large stone wishing well filled with live goldfish. Service was excellent and our server was continually asking to take used dishes and refill drinks. For the money I don't see how you can go wrong. |
