Comments: | Excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices. This is our second visit to Thai Treasure Restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is impeccable and the décor is beautiful.
No other way to describe Thai Treasure Restaurant other than this: Traditional Thai food at its best. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step in the door, and wholly satisfied and refreshed upon leaving.
The staff is very helpful and explains the ingredients and flavor of each dish. They will spend as much time with you as necessary to insure you enjoy your meal. Either select an entrée from their menu or create one to your specifications. Our group tried pork, beef, seafood dishes and a vegetable medley, all were excellent. For appetizers, try the crab rangoon. It was rated the “best we’ve ever had” by our table.
We’ll be back!

Comments: | There are only two really good Thai restaurants we have found in KC so far. We aren't done looking by any means. However, we loved Thai Teasures and recommend it to anyone. |

Comments: | I drove a long way to try this restaurant after reading the glowing reviews here. It's a nice looking place. At about 6 on a weekday evening it was very quiet, maybe one or two other parties besides me. It seemed like all the waiters were in their early-to-mid teens and very clueless and tentative. My green curry was fine. When I asked for a bit more rice, they quickly brought some...and later charged me $1 for it. I found this odd since only seconds before my check arrived, a more mature waiter (owner?) who suddenly appeared to help the folks at the next table said he'd gladly bring more rice to them when they asked why they only got one large bowl of it instead of two. They had ordered more expensive entrees. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, but it's the kind of inconsistency and game-playing that keeps customers from coming back. I won't go back. In a way, the person in back who told the teen to charge me extra was right: the rice cost them money ... the money I would have spent in future visits. |

Comments: | Excellent Thai food, freshly prepared. Generous portions. Excellent service by young men, not teens. If your only complaint is being charged $1 for extra rice, then you don't care much about the quality of the food itself, only the extra buck (which, by the way, is stated on the menu.) Located in a strip mall at a busy intersection, I encourage all Thai food lovers to give it a shot -- you won't be disappointed! (As for the size of the crowd; yes, it is a fairly new restaurant, trying to get off the ground. The size of the crowd has nothing to do with the quality of the food, in this case.) |
