Comments: | The SIKI Restaurant is located just south of Chipman Road at 601 NW Blue Parkway. We are fortunate here in Lee’s Summit to have a restaurant of quality and culture such as the SIKI. There are only three Sushi restaurants on the Missouri side, most are found in Johnson County. The Siki is becoming known not only for it’s Sushi, it is also a fine Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Serving many dishes that we are familiar with and some that are a new and delightful experience.
The SIKI had their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting December 13, 2000. As I frequent the SIKI I have found familiar faces returning to enjoy the outstanding cuisine, the Friendly service and warm welcome you receive as you arrive. I also have enjoyed watching the children of Lee’s Summit enjoy a new food experience and their exposure to a culture they can learn from.
The owner of SIKI is Thomas Tai and he is a Sushi master from Taiwan, he has studied the preparation of sushi for about 6 yrs.years. Thomas has been in the United States since 1992. His personal favorite is Yellow Fin. He has done an outstanding job creating the SIKI to be a fine addition to Lee’s Summit. I for one am excited to see Lee’s Summit growing and attracting quality businesses such as the SIKI.

Comments: | Certain kinds of Sushi was very good and others was ok.
California Rolls excellent much better then Tokyo when it comes to crab
and avacado. Shrimp seemed bland and lacked color. Squid had a odd taste
at the end of chewing. Crab Sticks very good. Salmon Very Good. Yellow Fin
Good. Ell was very good. Octopus not really a fan but okay. "Think it is
me and not the chefs" I would have to say the presentation is very nice. A
lot of regulars came in from different parts of Missouri. I did notice the
chef talking to someone that they did not reorder a lot of things for the
fact of being the day after Thanksgiving. Could have been the difference
with some of the items. Will go back. |

Comments: | Siki is such a fun place to go. Our four kids have a terrific time also. They call it the "fire" place because they light the table on fire. They have a kids menu, which includes enough food for me. They can choose from Shrimp, Chicken, or Steak. My husband and I have tried other Japanese restaurants in Kansas City, Overland Park, etc., and Siki is by far the best. Hibachi was my favorite before my husband took me to Siki. |

Comments: | Siki is the place in Kc to go for sushi. Thomas has brought a slice of heaven to Lees Summit. The fish is fresh, the service is superb
and the price doesen't matter. If youve tried the rest go to Siki for the
Best. I know this sounds one sided but honestly Siki only has one side and
if you are looking for a great night out Siki is the place to go. Thanks
Thomas for bringing your sushi shop to town. |
