Comments: | The food is wonderful. I love cajun food and have frequented most of the cajun places in town. This is a great place to go north of the river. However, It's not as good as Kiki's-Bon-Ton in Westport. But its better than Big Daddy's in the River Market. |

Jazz is one of my favorite places in Kansas City to go to hang out, listen to some Jazz music, eat food that is'nt very healthy and consume my alcholic beverage of choice-Michelob Light. I personally give Jazz a *** Rating! If you don't mind a little dirt & grease. You'll love the Jazz! Grab a pen sign your name on the wall, It's Kansas City Jazz at a Louisiana Kitchen. |

Comments: | My experience has been much different from the others reviewing the Olathe location. I have eaten at Jazz eight to ten times over the past eighteen months and have always had a good experience. The food has always been execellent, the servers friendly and the atmosphere lively. Occasionally the servers are a little slow from having numerous tables but they are always friendly. I highly recommend Jazz. |

Comments: | I would reccomend that anyone who has had a bad experience with this restaurant in the Lee's Summit, Olathe, or NW KC location to try the one on 39th street before passing judgement. I went to the Olathe
location after going only to the 39th street location and found the Olathe
version to be EXTREMELY lacking. Service was terrible and the food was
NOT prepared the same. Apparently they can't handle spice in the suburbs
because I had to add quite a bit of the Jazz "Bon Ton" spice to make my
chicken fettucine even resemble the way it is prepared down in the city.
If you are at the 39th st. location - Great Food, Great Service. Anywhere
else, you're taking your chances... |

Comments: | i moved here from the southeast. for the past several years, ive gone to new orleans once a month. i read other reviews, and this is supposed to be the best cajun in kc. i will give them a second chance, but they have a lot of work to do. honestly, im not a super picky person... but i almost sent my food back. i can count on one hand the times ive done that in my life. on top of the mediocre quality, and small quantity, its overpriced. |
