Comments: | We planned a New Year's Eve celebration for lunch and a movie with our PB&J certificate in hand. Only after we had eaten were we informed that the certificate was no longer good at Paulo & Bill. The expiration date had another year to go. We asked to see the manager and he explained they were no longer affiliated with PB&J. He certainly did not care about our embarassment with other diners next to us and truly showed no concern for our dining experience' I'm afraid had we not had a credit card he would have called the police. Notices to the public about the gift certificates not being honored were only visible if no one was frequenting the restaurant. I will never spend my money to eat there again because of the apalling lack of concern for the customer's dining experience. |

Comments: | Food has declined significantly. I have been occassionaly dining at Paulo and Bill's for about 6 years. I will not return. Garlic bread seemed as if it had been prepared previously and was warmed before serving. The roasted garlic was not fully cooked and not enough. I had taken a couple of drinks out of my water glass before I noticed a powder at the bottom of my glass and what looked like an asprin disolving in the bottom of the glass. If I were in the middle of the desert and dieing of thirst this would not really be off putting, but my wife and I did not drink from any of our glasses for the remander of the meal. Perhaps We should have simply got up in left. The waiter could not explain what was at the bottom of my glass. My wife ordered the ravioli (sp?). She got 2 for about $12. I ordered salmon on as bed of spinach. Salmon was overcooked and the dressing tasted like oil. We noticed that qaulity had been declining over the last couple of visits. !
Not going back. |

Comments: | One of my faves for Italian. We have gone as a family, but I prefer to make this a grown up outing. Very relaxing for Italian. I have only ordered pasta and am partial to the canelloni, but I have heard rave reviews from everyone I have recommended this place to (except about the spaghetti). I am not normally a fan of tiramasu, but after trying it here I have become a convert. The management should consider not holding wine tastings for staff before their shift though. We had service from an admittedly drunk waiter one time. |
