Comments: | The food at Bravo is very good. We went the first time just after it opened. Service was poor but we assumed it was due to it being a new restaurant. We just went back and the service was atrocious. It was my wife's birthday. I called ahead to have dessert preordered and for hers to come out with a candle. I was told it was no problem. First - her meal selection came out wrong. Waiters were tough to find. Her coffee cup was dirty. And guess what, they forgot the cake. I complained as I was leaving and they told me "sorry". They knew about it the b-day dessert but the waiter forgot - however, he was quick to bring the bill. What did we get for our trouble ... they told me to tell my wife happy birthday and they said to have a good night. Great service, huh! |

We desired a dish that wasn't on the menu and the chef came to our table to find out exactly what we wanted and then made it for us. Unheard of!! The servers are always friendly, knowledgable and eager to take care of their guests. We will be back time and time again. |

Comments: | Wow! I've been hunting for a wonderful little Italian place with a unique menu, and I found it Cupini's. Cupini's is actually a row of three shops located on the corner of Westport Rd. & State Line. The three buildings include the restaurant and a market where you can buy their freshly made pasta and decadent desserts, along with other imported Italian goodies. The huge and gorgeous pasta bowls are also for sale at a shamefully cheap $5 bucks! My husband and I enjoyed lunch there just the other day. What a treat. I had the Italian Beef Hot Panini sandwich. A taste treat of slow-roasted, thinly sliced beef which has been marinated in pepperoncini. They literally pile it on a crusty roll and do the panini thing. Topped with melted cheese, it's elbow licking good! My husband had the freshly made lasagna, a serving large enough to feed two people and leave them quite full. The marinara sauce was spectacular! The dining area is tiny, so come early if you go f!
or lunch. |

Comments: | I heard about this place first on the Walt Bodine show. Later a friend recommended it so my wife and I tried it...I have gone back every weekend since! I have also taken several out of town guests and they all have been impressed. The food is unpretentious, fresh and just plain wonderful. The atmosphere is fun as well. I have been to Italy a couple of times and it is very much like eating in a little trattoria in Rome. My only complaint is that it can be quite chilly in the dinning area if it is cold outside… But that hasn’t stopped me from going back! |

Service: | poor | Notes: | Server missed one of our orders on a slow night. |
Favorites: | We tried four dishes - all extremely substandard |
Comments: | Our entire party was EXREMELY disappointed. The prices were outrageous for the prices! Both veal dishes ( $19, $20) were small, the veal was thin, dry and smothered in tons of breading. The gnocchi was hardly enough to feed a baby and consisted mostly of cream sauce and only four gnocchi dumplings ($18). The chicken livers were heavily breaded and fried beyond recognition ($10). The sides were a joke - side of vegetable was three stalks of asparagus and the side pasta was a few bits of pasta with sauce and some parmesan. The bread was dry and inedible. Service was horrible. I would not recommend this restaurant for eating at... perhaps stick with drinks. |

Comments: | This deli with counter-style service caters to both dine-in and carry-out customers. Service is friendly and of good quality, and it is a smallish restaurant so if you go there often you'll start to recognize the employees, and vice versa. The food here is very good in quality and comes in meal-sized portions, but is price inexpensively enough so that you don't feel stupid getting it carry-out. It's a simple matter here to get a quick bite or a more substantial meal, whichever suits you best. In addition, they offer salads and "boxed lunches" for people on the go. Highly recommend trying this little deli. |
