Comments: | Same good food & service as in Tulsa. Portions are huge. I can't remember the last time I was able to eat it all. We invariably make a second meal from the doggie bag. Go early (before 5:30) or be prepared to wait. |

Comments: | Zio's is truly the finest Italian restaurant in Kansas City
bar-non, if you like 'spicy' Italian food. If you like bland "Pregosauce" tasting pasta, Zio's is not for you (try Gambucci). Otherwise, I can not say enough good things for the food taste at Zio's. My wife and I have visited many of the Italian restaurants in K.C. and Zio’s is still our favorite. Especially when it come to the bang for the back, there is no better value in K.C. My wife and I are regular customers (at least once a month) of Zio’s since it opened and we have tried most items on the menu and our favorites are listed above. |

Has Viewmasters for kids, and crayons to color on the butcher paper tablecloth; keeps kids amused while waiting for their food. Great idea! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!! |

Comments: | When we walked in the restaurant I noticed a table that was open but the greeter said we would have to wait about 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, we were seated at that very same table. Service was not great. Salad dressing was gross. After we ordered, we saw people come and go, and come and go again. We had to have waited 30+ minutes for our meal.
Now, pasta doesn't take that long to cook. I was beginning to wonder if
they were back there killing the chicken for my mom's salad. When the
food finally did come, don't get me wrong, it was good, and there was a
lot of it! |

Comments: | My wife and I go here for our anniversary every year. They have a great atmosphere and also very family friendly if you want to take the kids. Servers have a great talent of writing their name backwards on the table cover so you can read it. Kind of fun to doodle on the table while you wait(makes you feel like a kid again). Great place to eat, never disappointed. Not sure what the other guy meant when he said they had small portions. He must eat whole chickens for appetizers ... lol |
