Comments: | The food is not authentic and not inexpensive.
Two lunch entrees and coffee came to $24 dollars and altho the sandwich
was generous, the Ropa Vieja was suprisingly small. I recently returned
from Miami and was looking forward to authentic Cuban food. Not here. I
was very dissappointed and won't go back. |

Comments: | I always look for cuban food when I travel but rarely find it. I was so pleased that Overland Park had a restaurant that served it until I ate there. The tostones were burned. They served minute rice (no self respecting cuban would ever serve minute rice). There couldn't have been two tablespoons of mediocre black beans on the rice. The tenderloin steak tasted more like a minute steak. It was supposed to have grilled onions on top but didn't. The waitress said they were out of onion. A cuban restaurant out of onion??? The yucca con mojo was obviously a frozen yucca although the mojo was ok. All in all I wouldn't eat there ever again. |
